Week 9 Already!! :(

Hi everyone!!

Can you believe this is Unit 9 already!?! Well, tonight was the last seminar and I must say I am going to miss the Professor and classmates. It was a fun class to learn together. I wish you all the best of luck in all you seek to accomplish in life and I hope to see you in future classes.

I think the only think that I am worried about at this point in regards to this class is receiving a good grade on my paper. It is down to the wire and I still have some issues to work out as far as my paper is concerned.

Once again, good luck to you all and see you around!!

P.S. - These are my five year old twins, Nivek (pronounced Nyvik) and Kelisa. Their dad's name is Kevin, and so when Nivek was born my husband decided to give Nivek his name in reverse. I couldn't let him come up with such a unique name without me coming up with Kelisa's name.....which is Kevin and Lisa combined. The family said we really are vain. :)

WEEK 8 IS ALMOST OVER!!!

Hi everyone!

I am feeling pretty good this week. Can you believe we are in week 8 already and it is almost over?!? Before you know it, week ten will have arrived.

I really appreciate the feedback that I received on my draft in the discussion board. It helped me to put some issues with my paper into perspective. I hope by utilizing the feedback it will help improve my paper.

Actually, I think that I will continue to post to the blog from time to time after this term is over and I hope to see you all still participating with it.

Good luck to everyone on their papers and with this course.

What a Beautiful Day!!

Hi everyone! The day started out cold, but ended up reaching 69 degrees here today. Finished my other flower bed and looking good!

I have to say that I actually like the peer review experience when I am on the receiving end. When it comes to giving the review I was a bit hesitant about commenting on another person's piece of work and taking a chance on "stepping" on someone's toes. Once I read our reading assignment for the week, I was a little more comfortable with the process. All-in-all, we have to keep in mind that peer reviews are utilized to help and not hinder or hurt the other person.
I wish you all luck on your papers. The weeks are winding down so fast that before you know it, this term will be over and a new one beginning.

MY BRAIN IS WORKING OVERTIME!!

Hi everyone. My brain hurts from Unit 6 work from both of my classes. :) I have to submit a sentence outline in my other class and I am still trying to finalize my first draft for our college comp II class. My goodness, I will be so glad when all of this is over and we can start the next week. It is so difficult for me to find enough quiet, quality time to complete the more involved work with all that I have to do with my three littlest children. My 17 year old daughter just obtained her learner's permit two weeks ago and needless to say she has been driving me nuts wanting to drive every and anywhere. I have found myself sneaking out of the house on a couple of occasions just to be able to drive my own car. :) It's a bummer to have "Ms. Daisy" driving me around when I just want to "get there and now".

As for my topic on Lupus, I would hope that after it is read that it will peak the interest of my readers and cause more awareness of this very serious disease.

See you all on the discussion board and blog!
