Hi everyone! This is our sweet little Ivey Belle and yes, she is even a little diva in her sleep. She gets so many hugs and kisses from the whole family that if she was a diabetic she would go into sugar shock. :)
Wow, the weeks are flying by and one more day until April. Can you believe it? I am so far not having any difficulties in my classes....and let's hope it stays that way. :) Nothing but rain, rain, and more rain the past few days our way. There is a silver lining.....70's and 80's possible for the rest of this week. I can not wait to get outside and enjoy the weather and work in my flower beds. Not to mention.....setting my kids free outside to run themselves ragged and then give them baths before bedtime so they instantly fall asleep. (Just a daily dream of mine) School is such a positive influence in my life. It gives me an outlet.
See you in discussion board and the blog!!
Hi everyone,
The past week has been a bit sad for me. My Godmother of twenty-four years passed away and it has been an emotional week for me. She was 87 years old and I do take comfort in knowing that she passed away peacefully in her sleep and she will no longer have to suffer from her deteriorating health.
Well, in Unit 4 we covered plagiarism. If someone used something that I created as their own idea without giving me credit I would be really upset about it. I don't like the idea of putting my time and effort into something only to have someone steal my work. I think I would have to approach the person and let them know how I felt about the situation. If it pertained to my job, I would give the person a chance to rectify the situation and if they did not.....I would be making way for my employer's regarding the act.
Well, hope you all are doing well and enjoying this beautiful weather. It is 75 degrees here now and it is 7:27 p.m. ET. I love this weather and Spring has officially sprung!!! YEAH! And not a moment too soon.
See you in seminar, discussion board, and on the Blog!
Hi everyone! Hope all is well with you guys and your families. We have been getting nothing but rain for the past two days and the weather man is saying our area,(Warrenton, VA), will be getting rain through Monday. It feels great being an online student. I do like the anonymity, flexibility, and the self-directed style of the courses. The online experience fits into my busy schedule that includes my kids. I like being able to attend classes at 10 p.m. when the children are all conveniently tucked away safely in there beds. I like the fact I do not have to drive to and from school and can complete my work in the comfortable environment of my home. Heck!, I can even come to class in my pajamas with my hair all over my head and a rum and coke next to my computer and the teacher can't send me to the office for it. :)I am not sure what could create a closer class community. Maybe online group studies??
Until next week!!
Hi everyone! Can you believe we are already in Unit 3? Before you realize it, we will have hit the final week and will be a step closer to obtaining our goal(s) in life.
Hi everyone. Can you believe we are in the second week of work in this term already? Before you know it, it will be the final week and you will be one more step closer to obtaining the educational goals you have set for yourselves. I am much more organized and on top of my work then I was last term. I think at that time I was experiencing a "burn out" and was also trying to deal with a move from our old apartment to our new home. Took a bit out of me to get back into school after the move and trying to unpack all of those boxes. It seemed for every one box I unpacked, I found three more waiting for me. :) I look forward to sharing with all of you on the Blog.
